Life Guru Education
Wellness Learning Center
Evidence-based wellness education to help you understand how your body works, why nutrition matters, and how to make informed decisions about your health.
Core Topics
What You Need to Know About Your Health
The Life Guru Wellness Learning Center covers the foundational science behind the health areas our formulas are designed to support.
Topic 01
Cardiovascular Health & Circulation
Your cardiovascular system is the delivery network for every nutrient, every oxygen molecule, and every signal your body sends. Understanding how circulation works — and what supports it — is foundational to long-term health.
Key Concepts:
Nitric oxide and vasodilation · The role of L-Arginine and L-Citrulline · Why CoQ10 matters for heart health · The D3/K2 relationship and arterial flexibility · Magnesium and smooth muscle function
Topic 02
Nerve Health & B-Vitamin Science
B vitamins are water-soluble, which means the body cannot store them. They must be replenished daily. They are essential cofactors in nerve signaling, energy metabolism, and myelin production — yet deficiency is far more common than most people realize.
Key Concepts:
How nerves transmit signals · The role of myelin · Why B12 deficiency is so common after 50 · Methylcobalamin vs. cyanocobalamin · B vitamins and neurotransmitter synthesis
Topic 03
Cellular Energy & Healthy Aging
Energy is not just about feeling awake. It is a cellular process — driven by mitochondria, fueled by nutrients, and influenced by the choices you make every day. Understanding cellular energy is the key to understanding why you feel the way you feel.
Key Concepts:
Mitochondria and ATP production · Why CoQ10 declines with age · The role of B vitamins in energy metabolism · Oxidative stress and antioxidants · Nutritional strategies for healthy aging
Ingredient Education
Understanding Key Ingredients
A deep look at the active ingredients in Life Guru formulas — what they are, how they work, and why they matter.
L-Arginine & L-Citrulline
These two amino acids work together as the body’s primary pathway for nitric oxide (NO) production. L-Arginine is the direct precursor; L-Citrulline converts to L-Arginine in the kidneys, extending and sustaining NO production. Nitric oxide signals smooth muscle in blood vessel walls to relax — widening vessels and supporting healthy circulation.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
CoQ10 is a fat-soluble antioxidant found in virtually every cell in the body. Its primary role is in the mitochondrial electron transport chain — the process by which cells generate ATP (energy). The heart muscle is particularly dependent on CoQ10 due to its extremely high energy demands. CoQ10 levels naturally decline with age, and certain medications (notably statins) further deplete them.
Vitamin D3 & K2 (MK-7)
D3 and K2 are synergistic partners in calcium metabolism. D3 increases calcium absorption from the gut; K2 activates proteins (osteocalcin and matrix GLA protein) that direct calcium to bones rather than allowing it to deposit in arterial walls. This combination supports both bone density and arterial flexibility — two critical components of long-term cardiovascular health.
Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin)
B12 is essential for myelin sheath maintenance, red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis, and neurological function. Methylcobalamin is the active, bioavailable form — the body can use it immediately without conversion. Deficiency is extremely common in adults over 50, in vegetarians and vegans, and in those taking proton pump inhibitors or metformin. Symptoms of deficiency include fatigue, tingling in extremities, and cognitive changes.
Magnesium Glycinate
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body. For cardiovascular health specifically, it supports smooth muscle relaxation in blood vessel walls, helps regulate blood pressure, and supports healthy heart rhythm. The glycinate form is chelated to the amino acid glycine, which significantly improves absorption and reduces the gastrointestinal side effects common with cheaper forms like magnesium oxide.
B-Vitamin Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6)
The B vitamins work as a team. B1 (Thiamine) supports nerve impulse transmission. B2 (Riboflavin) is essential for cellular energy production. B3 (Niacinamide) supports circulation and DNA repair. B5 (Pantothenic Acid) is required for CoA synthesis and energy metabolism. B6 (Pyridoxine) is critical for neurotransmitter synthesis. Together, they form the metabolic foundation for nerve health and sustained energy.
